Now that I live in the Southwest, it's time for my first artificial Christmas tree!
It's quite a production putting it up...especially with Bessie Beetum making comments on every move...in fact, I finally asked her to leave the room.
Now for the next tier. (It sure doesn't look like the one on display in the store...maybe Bessie is right after all.)
But after much primping, with a little snow, and the first batch of cookies hanging on its branches...
...it's starting to look just like one of my illustrations. I don't have a Christmas book on my drawing board right now...but maybe I need to!
What a yummy looking tree. And outside your snug little home the sun is shining and it is warm. A very pleasant way to spend winter, I'd say.
